Officials with Westview Christian Church say Jeremy Pierce only rented their space for his school, Port City Christian Academy in Shreveport off Greenwood Rd.
"He's charged with molestation of a person with a physical or mental disability. His bond has been set at $750,000. That carries a 25-99 years. That's with or without hard labor in the Department of Corrections," Asst. DA Bill Edwards said.
Police say Pierce repeatedly sexually assaulted the teenage girl while driving her home from school. Chruch officials would not comment on how many employees worked there or how many students attended. The school was shut down when he was arrested.
According to the school's website it was set up as a private Christian School for both elementary and high school students. The goal was to have 40-50 students. The teaching was conducted through an online video streaming program and DVD's based in Florida.
