Pollen creating a headache across the area

Pollen season got an early start this year. Of course that's not the best news for allergy sufferers and everything covered in the greenish-yellow powder.
Dr. Jerel Raney says Velocity Care Urgent Treatment Center has been filled with people looking for some kind of relief.
"Usually they start with the runny nose sniffles."
Dr. Raney adds sometimes people get a sore throat or it leads to coughing and sinus headaches.
"For
most people it's just an annoyance. It's
something they can live with but they'd rather not live with it."
He advises folks who have to be outdoors to wear a mask or take an antihistamine at the start of their day.
The reason
for the early pollen season can be traced to a lack of cold weather this
winter. The good news is the next big
rain should wash all of the pollen away.
