Stray Dog Found Chained to Weight

By: Nick Lafave
Updated: March 19, 2013
The pictures are quickly making the rounds on Facebook.  The woman who found him says she turned him into Caddo Parish Animal Control.

After turning him in, she says she was told that the dog could possibly be returned to his original owner.  She goes on to say that if the dog is not recovered or adopted within in three days, she was told it could be euthanized.

There is now a small but building effort by many to try and find a way to save the dog.

We called the Caddo Animal Control office, but their offices were closed.
