Double Homicide Suspect Could Receive Death Penalty

A Miller County man accused of killing a mother and son and then burning their bodies had his day in front of a judge.
Carol Ellinberg and her son Jamies bodies were found among the ruins of their burned home back in October.
Brander Stringer is charged with stabbing them to death and then trying to cover it up.
The prosecuting attorney says they are seeking the maximum penalty for Stringer
" Presently, the death penalty is an option but we are reviewing it to make sure it is appropriate under the facts," said Carlton Jones.
Jones says additional charges will soon be added including arson, theft and abuse of a corpse.
