A woman is airlifted to the hospital after three vehicles collide in Bossier City.

The accident happened shortly before 6 p.m. Monday on LA Hwy 3227 just east of LA Hwy 157.

Investigators believe that a 2005 Hyundai driven by Aleatha Houston, 23, of Bossier City and a 2005 Pontiac Sunfire driven by Kristie Bryan, 19, were stopped in the east bound lane of LA Highway 3227 waiting to make a left turn when a 2011 Ford tow truck driven by Joshua Arceneaux, 33, of Haughton, hit the Sunfire pushing it into the Hyundai and off of the road.

Life Air transported Bryan to LSU Medical Center with serious injuries and Houston was taken to Willis Knighton Bossier with moderate injuries.

Arceneaux was not injured in the crash.

Toxicology samples were obtained to determine if alcohol may have played a role in the accident.
