There's more positive news about Louisiana's work force.

According to the latest numbers from the federal government, the state's non-military work force in January was the largest it's been since the fall of 2005.  In January, it was nearly 2.1. million.

The civilian labor force is two groups:  active workers and those seeking work.  There were more than 12,000 people in the state's civilian labor force than a year ago.
