Broadmoor eighth graders get brain food before taking on LEAP

Louisiana 4th, 8th and 10th grade students put on their writing caps Tuesday to take the writing portion of the LEAP test.

Before they got started on their compositions, Broadmoor Middle School graders fed their brains.  The Cane's on Youree Dr. sent over almost 500 chicken fingers so they could eat a good snack before they put all their prep work to paper.  Maggie Loper was ready for anything this morning.

"This year we have four possibilities: compare, contrast, continue the story and choice - where you decide what you want to do," said Loper.

The second phase of the LEAP test begins April 8th for eighth graders.
