KATY, TX - Northwestern State knocks off Stephen F. Austin 68-66 to become the Southland Conference tournament champions and the latest addition to NCAA tournament's field of 64.

Shamir Davis led the Demons' offensive assault with 19 points.

NSU earns an automatic bid into the NCAA tournament with the win. It marks the Demons first berth into the Big Dance since 2006. That season, NSU upset Iowa in the first round.
