Friends, family, and airmen came together Saturday to say a final goodbye to a local hero.

43-year-old, TSgt. Larry Bunn, died March 7th from a non-combative incident overseas.

Bunn had been deployed to Southeast Asia to work with B-52's and A-10's.

Born in Texas, he was assigned to the 307th Maintenance Squadron at Barksdale Air Force Base.

Friends and family say he was an honorable serviceman who loved his country, and was proud to defend our freedom.
