Local dental office offers free dental care Saturday

A local dentist office is offering free dental care Saturday morning. Dentists with Shreveport-Bossier Family Dental Care will start serving patients beginning at 8 a.m.
The dental office is located at 910 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, LA.
The service is first-come, first-serve and the first 150 people in line will receive free treatment. Patients can receive one free service including a free cleaning, a free extraction, or a free filling.
The six dentists participating say they just want to give back.
"There's always a story and it's one of those things...life right now is uneasy for a lot of people so being able to be around and be here to help people get through things is in my opinion really important," said Dr. Emile Geneux.
This is the first time the dental office is offering free dental care. Dr. Geneux said they anticipate making it an annual event.
