Carjacking suspect identified; manhunt underway

Shreveport Police are trying to track down a man they believe was involved in a carjacking in the Sunset Acres neighborhood.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Zerquario D. Reddix, 18, who is accused of stealing a woman's car with her small child inside.
The incident happened Thursday afternoon in the 6700 block of Melara Street.
Reddix allegedly took the car while a mother was dropping her child off at daycare.A seven-year-old girl was inside the vehicle at the time of the carjacking.
A short time later Reddix abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.
Reddix is described as a light skinned black male, standing six feet to six feet two inches tall, weighing between 135 to 140 pounds.
