Two suspects arrested in connection with local chop shop

The discovery of an alleged chop shop has landed two people behind bars.
On Friday Carlos Edwards, 27, and Alvin Lattier, 31, were taken into custody by Shreveport Police.
Edwards and Lattier are accused of stealing a car and stripping it of its parts.
Authorities uncovered the illegal operation on Pro St. after a car theft victim told them where they may find the stolen parts.
Edwards has been charged with illegal possession of a stolen firearm.
Lattier has been charged with possession of stolen things. Police say he had a stolen Chevy Caprice.
