We now know the names of the two people involved in what Bossier City Police are calling an apparent murder-suicide.

The deceased are identified as 43-year-old Lavance Deshannon Williams of Minden and his estranged wife, 33-year-old Lashontay Jimese Lewis, also of Minden.

The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1600 block of Airline Drive inside the Texture and Tones Hair Studio and boutique.

Police were called regarding shots fired. They arrived at the business to find Williams and Lewis dead from gunshot wounds.

Authorities say Williams shot his estranged wife during an argument at the business which also houses a tax service she operated.

The couple's 11-year-old son and several others were inside at the time. No one else was injured. Police have no records of prior incidents involving the couple.

The shooting remains under investigation.
