BOSSIER CITY, LA - It took three overtimes, but 4-seeded Carroll knocked off top-seeded Bossier  53-51 in the seminfinals of the Louisiana Class 3 boys basketball playoffs.

Bossier had reeled off four consecutive trips to the state championship game before Carroll outlasted the Bearkats in extra sessions.

Free throws were the difference. Carroll managed only 11-26 from the charity stripe, but Bossier was a meager 7-27.

Carroll's Josh Johnson led the field with 17 points. Bossier's Tevin Robertson led the Bearkats with 16 points.
