Save our schools: truancy cops

Right now there are hundreds of students in Caddo Parish alone considered truant. 

Volunteers For Youth Justice is staffed with two truancy officers.  Those officers are currently tracking 600 students.  Their job is to work with parents to get students back in class.

Tonight at ten we'll take an in-depth look at "truancy cops" and the strides they take to keep students off the streets.
