A resent research initiative from the University of Vermont says that Shreveport is the nations fourth "saddest" city. Well a local restaurant, Twine on Line Avenue, saw our report on the study and decided to do something about it.

They are hosting an event revolving on a Twitter hashtag #happyshrveport, where all proceeds will benefit The Louisiana Lions Eye Bank.

Nicole Novak from Twine and Tony Simpson from the Eye Bank stopped by NBC 6 to talk about the event.
