The father of the unarmed black teenager shot to death in Florida last year said that the family will "never move on."
Tuesday, Tracy Martin, Trayvon's father also said that lawmakers across the country must take a hard look at gun laws and who should get gun permits.
George Zimmerman, a former neighborhood watch volunteer, is charged with second-degree murder in Martin's death.
Zimmerman has pleaded not guilty and says he shot Martin in self-defense after Martin attacked him.
Zimmerman's trial is scheduled to begin June 10.
Meanwhile, Martin's parents will hold a candlelight vigil in New York tonight to mark the anniversary of his death as part of what they call a "Million Hoodie March." Martin was wearing a hoodie the night he was killed.
