Suspect on the run after robbing Shreveport business

Authorities are trying to capture a man who allegedly held up a hotel near the airport.
The robbery happened shortly before 2 p.m. Monday at the Days Inn in the 4900 block of W. Monkhouse Drive.
Authorities say the suspect entered the hotel, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. The man fled the scene after stealing an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing a
camouflage jacket and a red baseball cap.
Witnesses say he left the hotel
in what appeared to be a maroon colored four door Lincoln, possibly a Town Car.
