Body recovered from Red River has been identified

By: Nikki Henderson
Updated: February 22, 2013

Police say the body that was found near the Red River is that of an elderly man who disappeared earlier this month.

Foster Anderson, 87, suffered from Alzheimer's disease and his family reported him missing after he wandered off from his home Feb. 6.

Anderson's body was discovered Thursday along the river bank by the Boomtown Casino.

So far, authorities haven't determined yet if Anderson was the person who fell from the train tracks into the Red River.
