Local man locked up for multiple charges of molestation

A Shreveport man accused of molesting more than a dozen young boys is behind bars tonight.
Willie Johnson, 58, was taken into custody Friday afternoon on allegations that he recently committed sexual acts against a 13-year-old boy. Shreveport Police arrested Johnson at his home in the 8900 block of Rosewood Lane.
Authorities say their investigation has also revealed that Johnson may have molested at least 20 young males over the last 20 years.
So far five victims have made accusations against Johnson who is jail on a $500,000 bond.
Johnson has been charged with four counts of molestation of a juvenile and one count of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile. As the investigation continues, authorities are asking anyone that may have been victims of Johnson to come forward.
