2 Louisiana State Representative Seats Up for Grabs

political bigFour people are running for the District four seat. City Councilman Calvin Lester, former City Councilman Larry Ferdinand, Shreveport Zoning Board of Appeals President Reginald Johnson and former Caddo Commissioner Patrick Williams. The seat was vacated when Cedric Glover was elected Mayor of Shreveport in November. In District 1, five will vie for late Representative Roy "Hoppy" Hopkins' seat. They are Michael Page Boyter, Richie Hollier, Marc Weddleton, Ruth Johnston, and Caddo Commissioner Jim Morris. The election is scheduled for Saturday, February 24th.
