It's not a topic we talk a lot about with children... But educating them about preventing high blood pressure could save their lives.

The African American celebration committee brought families together for a health fair focused on hypertension --- calling it the silent killer.

Organizers hoped to spread the word about taking steps to prevent high blood pressure in the next generation.

State Representative Barbara Norton, district 3 (D) was on-hand to encourage children to do what they can to lead healthier lives like eating healthier and moving more.
