Frazier's buzzer-beater buries Idaho

Whitney Frazier hit a game-winning three-pointer with 0.2 seconds left to lift Louisiana Tech to a dramatic 64-62 victory over Idaho Saturday night in the Thomas Assembly Center.
Tech posted a season-low nine turnovers while forcing 15 Idaho turnovers in the game.
Louisiana Tech (12-13, 8-6 WAC) led by as much as 11 late in the first half but the Vandals (12-14, 9-6 WAC) cut that lead to four at halftime. Idaho would gain its first lead of the second half with 10 seconds left in the game off a Stacey Barr jump shot, forcing Frazier's heroics. After a near turnover by the Lady Techsters, Lulu Perry dumped the ball off to Frazier who would hit the game winning shot.
Louisiana Tech was led by Brittany Lewis who scored 18 points. Also scoring in double digits for the Lady Techsters were Frazier and Perry who scored 17 and 10 points, respectively. To go along with her scoring Frazier added nine rebounds, two steals, and a block.
Idaho was led by Barr who recorded a double-double leading all scorers with 21 points while grabbing 11 rebounds. Also scoring in double digits for the Vandals was Jessica Graham who added 13 points.
Louisiana Tech will take the next week off as the Lady Techsters next action comes Thursday, Feb. 28 against Utah State as they travel to Logan for an 8 p.m. CT tipoff.
