Economic summit geared toward local businesses

Today, Caddo Parish officials gathered at the Shreveport-Bossier African American Chamber of Commerce to discuss details of Saturday's "State of Black Shreveport Symposium.  The second annual event will focus on local economic issues such as business growth.

The summit starts on Saturday morning at 9:00 am at Riverview Hall on Clyde Fant in Shreveport.  Area small business owners are expected to be there to participate in a series of panel discussions.
