Local parents have a month to apply for a controversial scholarship program that's continuing to be tested in Louisiana courts.

In the first year of the Louisiana Scholarship Program more than 10,000 students applied statewide.  Only 6,000 scholarships were offered.  This year's deadline is March 15th.

The participating schools in Caddo Parish are: St. Joseph School, Living Word Academy, Evangel Christian Academy and Dreamkeepers Academy.

Applications can be found online:

Applications are also available at all participating schools.
