Victims of gun violence are expected to take the spotlight during President Barack Obama's State of the Union address.
Tonight former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, the mother of slain Chicago teen Hadiya Pendleton and a little girl from Newtown, Connecticut will watch the president's address from inside the House chamber.
Meanwhile, Obama is promising to focus on the state of the economy. Obama advisers say the president's speech will mainly address strengthening the middle class.
