People from across the country were in Shreveport Saturday to see the magnificent floats travel down Clyde Fant Parkway. It's the Krewe of Gemini's 23rd parade.

The theme in 2013 is "Gemini Loves Television." The King and Queen were Brad Graff and Kim Hoover.

The chilly temperatures didn't damper the crowds, but the rain inspired a few to head home. Also, the parade got a slow start after the color guard had to take a few minutes to adjust its flag.

"We have a big ball every year. We've been here for like 12 years in a row," said Tony Garcia, of Haworth, Oklahoma.

There were also several college gymnastics teams from across the country visiting the parade. They were in town for a gymnastics meet at Centinary College.
