The search continues for a person who may have been hit by a train and knocked into the Red River near downtown Shreveport Wednesday night.

Surveillance video from a KCS train shows one person was on the railroad bridge over the river. The person attempted to to avoid the oncoming train but the video doesn't show whether the person was hit by the train or may have jumped into the river.

Search teams from Caddo and Bossier parish marine patrols were involved in Friday's search. The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office is treating the incident as a drowning.

The search will continue over the weekend.
