The luck of the lottery is now in Texarkana after someone wins one million dollars!

Mathew D. Hiltibrand went to the Step in Three Valero gas station off of Summerhill Tuesday.

After playing and losing a few lotto games, he tried his luck at a Cash Excitement scratch-off ticket.

It turns out it was the one.

Now as word spreads of the big win, many are trying their luck at it.

Including Texarkana resident, Shane Walker, who says you never know it could be you.

"There are times where you have a dollar and you turn that dollar into a million. There's a chance for everybody to do it," Walker says. "I'll take my kid's age or my wife's anniversary or something like that and play that number, see if I can win on it."

The Texarkana store that sold the winning ticket will also get a big prize.

The Texas Lottery Commission is awarding them $10,000.
