Two suspects charged for a second time with burglary in Natchitoches Parish

Two
people arrested by Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Deputies in December are back
behind bars.
Less than two months ago Chasity Edwards, 19, and Carmello Casciari II, 20 were taken into custody in connection with a series of burglaries and thefts in the Gorum area.
After further investigation, authorities found evidence that Edwards and Casciari were involved in two separate residential burglaries on June 20 in the 100 block and 300 block of Andy Cedars Road. The suspects got away with $400 in change.
Detectives also learned that Edwards and Casciari were involved in the theft of two five gallon cans of Diesel fuel from a camp house in the 300 block of Mora-Gorum Road on Dec. 21.
Edwards has been charged with 1-count of Principle to Theft in connection with the Diesel fuel thefts.
Casciari was booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center and charged with 2-counts of Simple Burglary in connection with the residential burglaries and 1-count of Theft in connection with the diesel fuel theft.
