It's the little things

Just like the last ten times I started a plan to lose weight, I realize I have a long way to go until I reach my goal. This time, instead of getting frustrated at how much work there is to do, I stay motivated by celebrating the little milestones.
I did a victory dance two weeks ago when I got into a pair of jeans I hadn't worn in a long time. Then I was able to button a blazer that had previously been very "uncooperative." Yesterday, I wore a dress I hadn't worn in a year!
It's not just the wardrobe, though. Exercise seems to curb my appetite, lessen my cravings, and keeps me sane! I enjoy being more flexible and simply moving around more easily. All of it makes me more confident.
Maybe the little things are a big deal after all.
