This week we learn the importance of flexibility as our trainer Janine Bratton from Christus Louisiana Athletic club stretches our limits.
She also shares the following healthy snack ideas:
1 cup raw vegetables (carrots, broccoli, celery, etc.) and fat-free dressing
For a high-protein, high-calcium option, combine low fat cottage cheese and a pouch of dry dressing mix. Use instead of the dressing.
1/2 cup chopped fruit or one small piece of fruit
2 level tablespoons of peanut butter
1 slice low fat cheese or string cheese
8 ounce low fat yogurt
1 ounce nuts - example, 12 shelled walnuts
