Moonbot wants you to help make its new project a success.
Monday morning the studio announced its plans to produce a new computer video game during a press conference at the Robinson Film Center.
The title of the new game is "Golem". It is based on a Jewish folktale that is set in the early 16th century and is about a giant creature that is discovering the world for the first time.
"Golem", an oversized man, made of clay, wood, metal and stone, will also help restore peace to a city in the Czech Republic that has been overtaken by an evil ruler.
Moonbot is also launching a campaign to drum up community support so that the game can be made independently.
You can back the project by giving money to the crowd-funding website Kickstarter. When you make a donation, you will receive either a Moonbot shirt, original art or even an appearance in the game.
Moonbot is looking to raise $750,000 for the new game and any additional money raised will go toward bringing the game to a video game console.
