The annual event was held at the Southern Hills Recreation Center.
More than 20 participants, from elementary to adult, came to Saturday's clinic to learn about what it takes to play the sport.
From drills to scrimmaging, those involved did it all.
Event Coordinator, Dianna Gates, hopes the event will show others that the sky is the limit for anyone in a wheelchair.
"It's critical for people with disabilities to know that they have a life. It's not something that prevents them from doing what they want to get out there and do," said Gates. "They need to know they can reach out there and do what you want to do."
The clinic was taught by Doug Garner, the University of Texas at Arlington's Head Wheelchair Basketball Coach.
