Search continues for suspect who held up a local business

Authorities are on the lookout for a suspect who robbed a business in west Shreveport.

The robbery happened shortly before 1 p.m. Thursday at Easy Money Loans in the 7000 block of Pines Road.

A man entered the business armed with a semi-automatic weapon and demanded money from the clerk.  He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. 

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20's, standing about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a medium build.

A $500 reward is being offered in this case.  Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373.
