I-20 ramp closures affect commute in Bossier and Caddo Parish

You may have some trouble merging onto parts of Interstate-20 today.
Between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. the I-20
on-ramp bridge from Traffic St. to the west bound lane of the interstate will
be closed due to guardrail repairs.
Starting Tuesday, Feb. 5 between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. the
off-ramp from I-20 westbound to LA 1 southbound in Shreveport will be shut down
so that crews can replace an overhead truss sign.
The inside lane of LA 1 southbound from I-20
to Creswell Ave. will also be closed.
You may want to find a different route, if you
travel on Interstate-20 near Linwood Ave.
Starting Wednesday, Feb. 6 between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. the on-ramp from
Linwood Ave. to the eastbound lane of I-20 in Shreveport will be shut down so
that crews can replace two overhead truss signs.
The outside lane of eastbound I-20 from the
Linwood on-ramp to the I-49 merge and the inside lane of the northbound I-49 to
eastbound I-20 ramp will also be closed.
