Second degree murder trial of accused teen killers continues

Arguments in the second degree murder trial of Joshua D. Brooks, 20, and Paul Anthony Jones, 20, continued today in Caddo District Court. The two are being tried jointly for the April 2009 shooting death of Terrell Savore, then an eighth grade student at J.S. Clark Middle School.
Shreveport attorney Frank Zaccaria is representing Joshua Brooks and Dale Montgomery is representing Jones. Caddo Parish Assistant District Attorney Dale Cox is prosecuting. Judge E. Joseph Bleich is presiding.
If convicted, the men will face a sentence of mandatory life in prison without benefit of parole, probation or suspension.
