Update: Bossier authorities investigate couple's death as murder-suicide

Investigators say the elderly couple discovered inside their home in the Old Greenacres neighborhood had sustained gunshot wounds.

A family member found the victims, Margaret Mitchell, 84, and Roy Mitchell, 86, shortly after 10 a.m. Monday in the 2400 block of Belmont Blvd.

Detectives have also recovered a weapon from the scene.

Missing dog gets reunited with owner
