Newborn baby fights for his life after car crash

A newborn baby fights for his life after being involved in a car accident Sunday on Buncombe Road.

It happened around 6:40 p.m. in the 6900 block of Buncombe Road.

Shreveport Police said Sarah Sutton, 32, of Shreveport, was driving eastbound when a semi crossed the line and hit her head-on.

The 18-wheeler then hit a light pole and a tree.

The semi driver, Boderick Davidson, 46, of Carthage, TX, is in good condition at the hospital.

Sutton is in fair condition. Her son remains in critical condition.
