DOTD shutting down bridge in Bossier Parish

If you travel on the LA 537 bridge, you will need to find a different route.

The Louisiana Department of Development and Transportation is closing the bridge over Posten Bayou, near Wardview, .75 miles east of the junction of Arkansas Line Road.

Starting at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4, LA 537 will be shut down for five days due to piling repairs.

DOTD officials say you must detour using Arkansas Line Rd., Log Ferry Rd., Wise Rd., LA 3 and LA 537.
