Members of Praise Temple Full Gospel Baptist Cathedral were out in full force, cleaning up their neighborhood.
Dozens of volunteers spread out along Greenwood Road, and Monkhouse Drive, picking up trash.
Volunteers said they found mostly water bottles, paper, and beer cans. Many said they were just happy to be giving back.
"Everything we do, we do it so that God will get all the glory. So, it actually makes me feel good to give back to what my community has given me.
Praise Temple has more than 100 people volunteering every fourth Saturday.
After cleaning up Monday, the volunteers returned to the church to watch President Barack Obama's second inaugural address.
