SPD officer placed on administrative leave

A Shreveport Police officer has been temporarily relieved of her duties.

Officer Shenay Boone-Harris was placed on administrative leave Monday by Chief of Police Willie Shaw following allegations of alleged policy violations.

Boone-Harris, who was hired by the department in February 2008, has been placed on paid administrative leave in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Shreveport Fire and Police Civil Service Board.
