Vigil at Elysian Fields for Brandon Goyne

"You just never think someone who is 20 years old and in perfect shape would just go down," Austin Delk said.

Brandon Goyne died doing what he loved--playing baseball. In high school he was a standout athlete at Elysian Fields, and an exemplary teammate up until his last breath during practice at LSU Alexandria.

"He had a smile that lit up the room. The best personality and everybody knew him and loved him," Lissa Busbey said.

The community hopes their vigil can help ease the pain of losing one of their own.
