A woman has been arrested in connection with a car burglary in south Shreveport.

Ashleigh Phillips, 22, was taken into custody Thursday after authorities received a tip from Crime Stoppers.

Phillips allegedly took a wallet and other items from a vehicle on Jan.11.  She is also accused of using a stolen credit card at a local store.

Investigators were able to get surveillance video from the business where the card was used and posted it on the Crime Stoppers website.

Authorities received several leads after the footage of Phillips was seen on the internet.

Phillips has also been linked to three other burglaries.  She was booked into the Shreveport City Jail and charged with vehicle burglary, forgery and possession of a legend drug.
