Caddo Parish drug investigations land nine people in jail

Nine people have been arrested after multiple investigations by the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Force.
On Tuesday, agents conducted a traffic stop on North Hearne at Forum Drive and arrested Ramon Sheppard, 35, for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
A follow-up investigation led to warrants being executed on Poland and Kenneth streets in Shreveport with the assistance of the CPSO Special Response Team.
Agents arrested Tasha Gladney, 37, at 1811 Poland Street, for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of stolen things. Agents recovered a stolen Honda ATV and stolen air compressor, and seized a 9mm handgun. The SPD Property Crimes Unit assisted in the recovery of the 4-wheeler and air compressor. The second warrant was executed at 1534 Kenneth Street, where agents seized approximately 20 grams of crack cocaine. No arrests were made at this location.
On Wednesday, the Task Force received information from concerned citizens that led to three related investigations in the Blanchard area. The first was at 7735 Womack Road. Three people were arrested for narcotics-related offenses, and marijuana, methamphetamine and precursors used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine were recovered. Caddo patrol deputies assisted with the investigation.
Arrested were: Amanda Ward, 32, for possession of methamphetamine; Roy Hughes, 30, for possession of marijuana and possession of methamphetamine; and Jerry McClain, 24, for possession of methamphetamine and possession of a clandestine methamphetamine lab. Agents seized approximately 4.2 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 2.7 grams of marijuana, and precursors used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
Agents then went to 966 Greer Road in reference to possible drug activity and located the components of a meth lab. Kenny Moulton, 51, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of a clandestine methamphetamine lab. Agents seized approximately 2.0 grams of marijuana and precursors used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
At 9205 North Sunset, agents conducted a brief investigation and arrested Gary Granlund, 51, for possession of marijuana second offense. Approximately 1.0 grams of marijuana was seized from Granlund.
In a separate investigation on Wednesday, the Task Force, assisted by the CPSO Special Response Team, executed a search warrant at 3926 Powell Street in Shreveport. Agents arrested Karmecia Williams, 23, and Taurus Lawrence, 31, for possession of cocaine over 28 grams and violation of a drug-free zone. Agents seized approximately 39 grams of crack cocaine at the house located across the street from Mooretown Elementary School.
