Texas Street traffic and keeping it sanded...

Since 5am crews in Bossier City have been hard at work to help the Louisiana Highway Department. The department lays the salt and Bossier sprays the sand to improve the traction.
It's major overpasses, bridges, and on-ramps that get hit the hardest because they freeze first, causing accidents.
At this point some of those roads are still shut down and it makes downtown Shreveport and Bossier a busy place at the Texas Street bridge.
