In Caddo Parish there's two main areas that get hit the most. One is Linwood Avenue and basically any area near Wallace Lake.

"Linwood has been completely covered with water in the past. I don't anticipate this happening right now," Ken Ward with Caddo Public Works said.

Another area is the intersection of North Hearne and Grimmett Drive.

"This is a spot where we often get called to first. We always see that sometimes people get suck when they try to drive through puddles. Make sure to avoid that," Shreveport Police Sgt. Bill Goodin said.

Both the Parish and the City say there are way you can do your part.
Pick up sandbags if necessary. They are free for Parish residents and crews will help you load them into your vehicle.
