If you live in Shreveport and surrounding areas you can pick up sand bags to protect your home from flooding.

The area is expected to get heavy rainfall within the next 24 hours and then more wet weather is headed our way this weekend.

Wednesday Caddo Parish officials will be handing out sandbags in two different locations.

If you live up north you can pick up sand bags at 108 Finley Drive in Vivian.

If you live down south you can pick up sand bags at 11928 Greenwood Springridge Drive in Shreveport.
