A 90-year-old man who drove the wrong way on I-220 has a small collision, but is alright.
Louisiana State Police say early Sunday morning, the man was driving the wrong way in the westbound lanes of I-220, when he passed a trooper.
The driver was near the Caddo/Bossier Parish line at the time, and Bossier City Police were called.
Before police could get to the man, he had a small collision with a truck near the Shed Road exit.
The truck was pulling a boat and swerved out of the way. The elderly driver ended up hitting the trailer, knocking the boat off.
Police say the collision was minor. The 90-year-old driver didn't have major injuries, but was taken to Willis Knighton for leg pains.
The driver of the truck was not hurt.
Police say the fog may have contributed to the man's confusion.
