Operations to move the 6 million pounds of illegally stored black powder at Camp Minden started on December 1.

More than 5.5 million pounds have been transported so far, but does it make a difference to people in Doyline?

"Well I don't know why it's safer now than when they had the road blocks up? I'm not going to feel totally safe until they are done," Cara Auchard said.

"I dunno if I feel safer. But they're going to do what they're going to do. Who knows," James Dudash said.

Meanwhile the dowtown Minden companies that were damaged during the original blast, still have not received word of compensation.

The lawsuits continue to pile up both in federal court and Webster Parish Court.
